Egg Timer
Perfectly boiled eggs, every time — one tap and go.
06:00
Lower your eggs into already-boiling water and start the timer right away. Size matters: large or fridge-cold eggs need about a minute longer. When the timer rings, move the eggs into cold water to stop the cooking.
How long should I boil an egg?
Counted from the moment the water is boiling: about 6 minutes for soft boiled, 8 minutes for medium and 10–12 minutes for hard boiled.
Do I start timing from cold or boiling water?
These times assume you start from boiling water. Starting from cold water makes the result less predictable, so bring the water to a boil first.
